Care tips for first use
Wash the teapot with warm water and soap and dry it with a clean tea towel. Before brewing tea, rinse the teapot with boiling water.

Cleaning
The interior of these teapots is enamelled and can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning products. Any dark spots on the inside are caused by tea deposits and do not affect your health. Over time, the interior will become completely dark brown. The tea patina enhances the flavour.

Rust
Cast-iron teapots may occasionally develop rust, usually around the lid and spout. To prevent rust, you can lightly oil the exterior and rim of the teapot with a cloth and a small amount of (olive) oil. Do not oil the interior. Store the teapot without the lid, or place a paper towel between the lid and the pot to prevent rust formation.
