Care instructions

Before first use
Wash the teapot with warm water and mild soap, then dry with a soft towel. Rinse with boiling water before brewing tea.

Cleaning
The enamelled interior can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents. Dark spots inside are harmless tea residue that enhance flavour over time.

Preventing rust
Cast iron teapots may rust slightly, especially near the lid and spout. To prevent this, occasionally wipe the exterior and rim with a lightly oiled cloth (e.g. olive oil). Do not oil the interior. Store the teapot without the lid or with a paper towel in between to prevent moisture build-up.
